PWC Jet-ski berthing
Our great value berthing is not just for boats, we also have a number of jet-ski docks on our North Quay marina which are available for annual, 6 monthly and monthly berthing.
As an annual PWC berth holder you can enjoy:
- Free use of slipway for launching onto berth*
- Free use of toilet/shower facilities**
*Simply book in advance at the Harbour Office for your arrival.
**WC and shower facilities are on North Quay and the facilities at Custom House Quay include an accessible/family washroom complete with baby changing and laundry facilities available.

A motorised watersports permit is required if you wish to operate a Personal Water Craft (PWC) or any form of powered watercraft towing skiers, wakeboarders, donuts etc within the limits of Weymouth Harbour. Annual permits are only available for annual berth holders in either the Dorset Council or Premier marinas, daily permits can be purchased online.
Harbour Permits
A permit is also needed if you wish to operate a Personal Water Craft (PWC) or any form of powered watercraft towing skiers, wakeboarders, donuts etc within the limits of Weymouth Harbour. This permit will grant you the Harbour Master's permission (under Byelaw 34.1) to conduct these watersports within the Harbour limits.

You can be liable for a fine of up to £2,500 for failure to obtain a valid permit. Please see the Weymouth Harbour General Directions 2024 for further information.
In addition to your PWC permit, your Datatag number must be registered with Datatag to identify you as the current owner of the vessel. Please note that refunds will not be issued to those who purchase a PWC permit without being registered with Datatag.
