Weymouth on the water; historic rowing ferry
Since the 16th Century rowing ferries have taken passengers across Weymouth Harbour, a rather pleasant experience to save those weary legs!

Look for the 'Ferry Across the Harbour' sign at the start of Custom House Quay near Weymouth Pavilion, where rowing boats will take you across the harbour disembarking just past Weymouth Sailing Club and RNLI. From here you can walk out to the stone pier, explore the Nothe Fort or enjoy local food and drink in Brewers Quay and Hope Square.
