Site Works Update

There has been lots of visible progress since the last site update, as well as preparatory work for site areas.
The concrete bases for the relocation of the fish landing quay and the oil separator slab for the new fuel tank along with fuel tank delivery slab have all been poured. The 50,000l fuel tank has been delivered and the refrigeration and ice making units installed in the fish bait store.
Palisade fencing around the commercial area (Compound C) has continued and the two gates for the one way system in Compound A are now in place. Railings extend around Compound B (near the linkspan) and along the newly created access ramps, plus bases and poles for CCTV monitoring of the new facilities.
Surfacing preparation has been carried out to the remaining site areas as well as mains water connections, continuation of ducting and Aco channels.
Knights Brown will be working on the electrical supply with SSE in Compound A over the next couple of weeks and installing new benches in the public realm walkway.
Surfacing, fencing and gate installations will continue across site and the davit arms for the new fish landing quay cranes will be installed and tested. Site Wide the CCTV heads and lamp columns will also be fitted.
