The Fishermen's Mission will be at the fish landing quay office and around the quay area from 11:00 - 13:00 on Tuesday September 1st to engage with the local fishing community. From 14:00 onwards they will also be serving hot drinks and offering free snacks "Brew@2", to any fisherman whether former, retired or active who would like to stop by. Weymouth and Portland Marine Litter Project are a fantastic voluntary group who collect and recycle items discarded on Weymouth beaches, harbour and many more public spaces. From buckets and spades to fishing nets and lines they clear and sort through tonnes of rubbish and recyling, repurposing wherever possible.
